Oz The Great and Powerful

Anyone else watch Oz the Great and Powerful and LOVE the costumes! I know I did! Anyway, today I'm just posting some pictures for your oogling pleasure ;) Enjoy!

My favorite dress is easily Evanora's..

Glenda's was cute, but a bit too poofy for me...

I preferred her longer one...

Theodora's dress was also cool...

But of course her wicked witch costume was the most fun! lol

Cheers!

Busy weekend! sorry I was away for so long (again!)

Anyhoo, I am still hung up on Jojn William Waterhouse, and have been comparing actual costumes to some of the paintings so I thought I'd share...enjoy!

To start, lets go with my favorite......

And what i thought looked similar....

Would just need a belt and pouch to complete the look!

Next painting...

Ok so I am comparing the green dress here..
Armstreet actually has a very similar dress and you can choose from a myriad of colors...

So it's on to the next one...

Wrong color, same dress...

Well that's all for today, Cheers!

Bustles!

Hands down my favorite type of clothing from the Victorian period is the bustle. So today we have some bustle loveliness courtesy of the Metropolitan Museum of Art ...enjoy!
